This project was an addition of a spa to the Lowe’s Hollywood Hotel and was designed during my time at DMJM Rottet with with Principal Richard Reviere and Project Architect Kenton Zlab. It included a new building addition on the pool deck, new nail salon, gift store, entry and fitness room remodel and incorporating six existing guest rooms for treatment rooms.
The creative brief via creative director for the development team Kerry Joyce was a dream within a dream. A modern Moroccan hamman style spa was concepted and completely custom designed from floor to ceiling, highlights are hand finished plaster, custom stonework, custom furnishings, locker room and steam room, and glowing cove lighting throughout the entire space.
