The existing home was small and out of date having been built in 1939. It had the original floor heater, no AC and old electrical wiring. The client wanted a new kitchen and a new primary bed and bathroom. The entire project was designed using LEED rules and objectives including denim insulation, to formaldehyde free plywood creating a healthy home for modern day living.
The remodel featured a new custom kitchen, primary bedroom and bath with sustainable custom cabinetry, new oak flooring, new lighting, plumbing fixtures and all new windows and doors. The entire home was painted including reclaimed teak siding going from interior to exterior and antiques, vintage and sustainable furnishings were incorporated with existing furniture.
